16 ~ 19cm 길이의 날씬한 새이며 무게는 약 40 그램입니다. 깃털은 옅은 갈색이며 짙은 줄무늬가 있습니다. 아래 부분은 가슴에 줄무늬가 창백합니다. 눈에는 옅은 줄무늬가 있고 어두운 어금니와 moustachial 줄무늬가 있습니다. 긴 꼬리는 흰색 바깥 깃털을 가지고 있으며 종종 위아래로 뭉개져 있습니다. 다리는 길고 분홍빛이 도는 반면, 지폐는 가늘고 갈색입니다. 참새와 같은 chirruping 호와 tswee 호가 있습니다.
