M. f. semicervina: van oostelijk Panama tot noordwestelijk Peru. M. f. motacilla: noordelijk Colombia. M. f. fulvicauda: het westelijk Amazonebekken. M. f. significans: zuidoostelijk Peru en noordwestelijk Bolivia.
