Description
The Sulawesi goshawk (Accipiter griseiceps) is a species of bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. It is endemic to Sulawesi, Indonesia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Feeding Habits
Sulawesi Goshawk primarily feeds on lizards, small birds, large insects, and small mammals, including the opportunistic consumption of domestic fowl. Hunting involves surprising prey, usually on the ground, preceded by a swift flight from a hidden perch.
Habitat
The sulawesi Goshawk predominantly resides in primary and secondary forests with a preference for regions exhibiting some degree of open space. Furthermore, this species is also adapted to mangrove ecosystems and areas akin to wooded savannas. It exhibits flexibility by inhabiting a variety of wooded environments across broader geographical zones within its range.
