Description
The millerbird is a critically endangered species of bird only found in Hawaii - specifically in the Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge and Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument. Mating pairs form long-term bonds and defend a large territory. The millerbird had two subspecies, Acrocephalus familiaris kingi and Acrocephalus familiaris familiaris, though the latter has unfortunately gone extinct.
