  Feeding Habits
Great Iora primarily consumes insects, often joining mixed-species parties of insectivores to forage.
    Habitat
The great Iora typically thrives in the edge and canopy layers of semi-deciduous to evergreen lowland forests, which may include the crowns of towering emergent trees. These birds are also known to inhabit tall secondary forests and, on occasion, overgrown plantations such as those for durian and rubber. Additionally, the great Iora occupies forested areas with a heavy presence of bamboo and thick undergrowth, extending to hedges and groves in more open, cleared regions, including the surroundings of human settlements.
