Feeding Habits

Habitat
The oriental Skylark occupies a range of open habitats featuring short vegetation, including grasslands and agricultural lands. Preferring lower lying areas, this species is adaptable to various environmental conditions such as saline coastal marshes, mudflats, dry lake and riverbanks, and paddy fields. Furthermore, it can be found in semi-desert areas with sparse shrubbery and in extensive clearings within forests. The oriental Skylark avoids densely wooded or uneven terrain and can be seen frequenting wetland peripheries and semi-deserts, distinct from its counterparts in the region.
