Description
The Nepal fulvetta (or Nepal alcippe as the fulvettas proper are not closely related to this bird), Alcippe nipalensis, is a bird species in the family Alcippeidae. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Taiwan. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Nepal Fulvetta predominantly feeds on insects, nectar, and berries—the latter being a major dietary component outside the breeding season (Sept-Feb). They forage briskly in mixed flocks of up to 20, mainly in undergrowth and lower tree canopies, sometimes on the ground.
Habitat
The nepal Fulvetta thrives in various forested environments, which include broadleaf evergreen forests, moist deciduous forests, areas at the edge of forests, regions with secondary growth, and bamboo thickets. These birds are typically found in subtropical and temperate zones within the broader Himalayan region.
