Description
The white-throated bulbul (Alophoixus flaveolus) is a species of songbird in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is found in south-eastern Asia from the eastern Himalayas to Myanmar and western Thailand. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

Feeding Habits
White-throated Bulbul consumes a variety of fruits, particularly berries, and insects. They forage in small groups, staying close to the ground and moving through vegetation in an orderly sequence. White-throated Bulbul shows a preference for gooseberries in Northeast India.
Habitat
The white-throated Bulbul is typically found in the understorey or middle storey of primary and secondary evergreen forests. It favors dense vegetation, and in the colder season, it may move to lower elevations, occupying more open scrub areas and bushes, which can sometimes be adjacent to cultivated lands.
