Feeding Habits

Habitat
The orange-winged Amazon is typically found in a variety of ecosystems across broad tropical regions. These habitats include but are not limited to lowland areas up to 600 m above sea level, encompassing riverine várzea forests, gallery forests, forest margins, mangroves, and savannas. The species is adaptable to both natural and modified landscapes, inhabiting open areas with palm groves, parklands, and even urban gardens. Particularly fond of tall trees, it uses these for communal roosting and nesting in tree cavities, although it avoids humid terra firme forests where another amazon species prevails.
