Description
The pied-crested tit-tyrant (Anairetes reguloides) is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in coastal Peru and far northern Chile. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist shrubland and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.

The pied-crested Tit-tyrant typically inhabits areas with riparian thickets and coastal lomas, as well as arid to semi-arid montane scrub landscapes. Additionally, these birds are often found occupying hedgerows within agricultural zones and above the treeline in Polylepis woodlands, where they coexist with related tit-tyrant species.
