Description
The Bornean spiderhunter (Arachnothera everetti) is a species of bird in the family Nectariniidae. The scientific name commemorates British colonial administrator and zoological collector Alfred Hart Everett.

Habitat
Bornean Spiderhunter inhabits montane forests, forest fringes, and areas surrounding plantations, particularly those cultivating Musa spp. They are typically found in regions with lush vegetation and a diversity of flowering plants. This species displays adaptability to modified landscapes such as logged forests, rubber, and abaca plantations, as well as gardens, especially when the similar Gray-breasted Spiderhunter is absent from the region.
