Description
The Malaysian partridge, or Campbell's partridge, (Arborophila campbelli) is a bird species in the family Phasianidae. This species is found in highland forest in Peninsular Malaysia. It is sometimes treated as a subspecies of the grey-breasted partridge.

Feeding Habits
Malayan Partridge consumes fruits from rattan palms and Pratia begoniaefolia, as well as termites and gastropods. Often forages in pairs or small groups, typically presumed to be family units.
Habitat
The malayan Partridge typically resides in montane forests, favoring habitats within the upper dipterocarp zone, as well as montane evergreen and tall upper montane forests. These birds thrive in well-developed forests featuring dense undergrowth and can adapt to survive in small forest patches, even as small as 5 hectares, amid agricultural landscapes like tea plantations.
