Description
The tepui brushfinch (Atlapetes personatus) is a species of bird in the family Passerellidae. It is found in Brazil, Guyana, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Habitat
Tepui Brushfinch inhabits the margins of humid montane forests and understories, preferring areas with dense vegetation such as melastome-rich secondary growths, commonly on white sand soils. This species is also found in regions with bamboo thickets, often in areas of high moisture and dense plant growth.
