Feeding Habits
Dull-capped Attila primarily consumes larger arthropods and fruits. It typically feeds solitarily or in pairs; occasionally, it joins mixed-species flocks. Utilizing a 'sit-and-wait' tactic, dull-capped Attila perches inconspicuously in understorey or mid-storey before swiftly catching prey from foliage or branches.
Habitat
Dull-capped Attila primarily inhabits swampy forests, including varzea and forest edges typically associated with riverine ecosystems. These birds are also prevalent in gallery forests within wetlands, preferring areas dense with vegetation and water resources, and they often inhabit regions that encompass extensive river systems.
