Feeding Habits
Grey-hooded Attila primarily feeds on large arthropods, like ants and butterflies, and also consumes fruit. It forages alone or in pairs from the ground to the canopy, often joining mixed-species flocks. Grey-hooded Attila is known to perch motionlessly before rapidly sallying to catch prey or harvest food from foliage.
Habitat
The grey-hooded Attila is typically found in humid lowland forests, montane forests, and forest edges, as well as scrub areas. These environments are characterized by high moisture levels and dense vegetation offering ample food and shelter. Grey-hooded Attila favors broad leafy expanses rather than open or arid landscapes. Its range encompasses climatically diverse regions that support these types of habitats.
