Description
The olive-backed foliage-gleaner (Automolus infuscatus) is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae. It is found in humid forest of most of the Amazon Basin, except in the southeastern part, where the Para foliage-gleaner is found. The two are closely related and were considered conspecific until recently.

Olive-backed Foliage-gleaner's diet mainly consists of arthropods gleaned acrobatically from dead leaves, debris, and bark crevices. It typically forages alone or in pairs, often joining mixed-species flocks and specializes in dead-leaf feeding.
Habitat
The olive-backed Foliage-gleaner is typically found in tropical lowland evergreen forests, including both terra firme and transitional forest types. They are also locally present in várzea (flooded forests) and areas of secondary growth. These environments are characterized by rich biodiversity and dense vegetation providing ample foraging opportunities.
