Description
The fasciated wren (Campylorhynchus fasciatus) is a species of bird in the family Troglodytidae. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.

Feeding Habits
Fasciated Wren's diet primarily consists of invertebrates and some vegetable matter. Fasciated Wren forages in groups within bushes, shrubs, and on farm building roofs, occasionally descending to the ground. Fasciated Wren exhibits unique social feeding behavior.
Habitat
The fasciated Wren predominantly resides in arid to semi-arid regions characterized by thorny scrublands. These birds also adapt to environments heavily influenced by human activities and can frequently be found in agricultural areas such as citrus orchards. In regions with more humidity, they inhabit deciduous woodlands.
