Description
The stripe-breasted wren (Cantorchilus thoracicus) is a species of bird in the family Troglodytidae. It is found in Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.

Habitat
Stripe-breasted Wren typically inhabits woodland edges and open areas within forests, often utilizing the dense and tangled vegetation found along streams. This species demonstrates a preference for human-modified landscapes as well, including cacao plantations in lowland regions and shade-grown coffee plantations at higher altitudes. Stripe-breasted Wren is adaptable and can be found from sea level up to elevations of around 1100 meters across broad geographical tropical areas.
