  Feeding Habits
Pink-browed Rosefinch's diet consists primarily of seeds, berries, grasses, and small herbs, including Cyathula, Viburnum, and Ziziphus maurtiana. Pink-browed Rosefinch forages mostly on the ground, often at snowmelt edges or under bushes, and displays a tame behavior, feeding quietly in pairs or small same-sex flocks, especially outside the breeding season.
    Habitat
The pink-browed Rosefinch inhabits the underbrush of montane and submontane forests, frequenting areas with a mix of shrubs such as dwarf juniper, willows, rhododendron, and open grassy terrains with scrub at the frontier of treelines. It is also found in proximity to human settlements and village gardens, generally in regions with mixed deciduous forests composed of fir, birch, and oak trees.
