Description
The Himalayan white-browed rosefinch (Carpodacus thura) is a true finch species (family Fringillidae). Rages across the Himalayas, being found from Afghanistan in the west, eastwards across India to Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and temperate shrubland.

Feeding Habits
Himalayan White-browed Rosefinch subsists mainly on seeds, buds, shoots, and berries from alpine flora. It forages on the ground and in foliage, adeptly hopping and walking, or perching in vegetation. Typically encountered in pairs or small groups, himalayan White-browed Rosefinch may join other finches, especially outside breeding seasons.
Habitat
