Description
The Peruvian wren (Cinnycerthia peruana) is a species of bird in the family Troglodytidae. It formerly included the sepia-brown wren or Sharpe's wren (C. olivascens) and the fulvous wren (C. fulva) as subspecies, but with all three under the common name sepia-brown wren. As presently defined, the Peruvian wren is endemic to dense undergrowth of humid Andean forests in Peru.

Feeding Habits
Peruvian Wren typically forages on or near the ground, sifting through vegetation and litter, often in family groups. While specifics of its diet are unclear, its ground-rummaging behavior suggests a variety of insects and invertebrates may be consumed.
Habitat
The peruvian Wren is indigenous to dense, humid montane forests, often dwelling in areas characterized by lush second growth and forest edges. These environments typically feature a rich undergrowth and are part of broader temperate mountainous regions.
