Description
The white-bellied cuckooshrike (Coracina papuensis) is a species of bird in the family Campephagidae. It is found in Australia, the Moluccas, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical mangrove forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Feeding Habits
White-bellied Cuckooshrike primarily consumes a variety of larger insects, including dragonflies and beetles, complemented by spiders, fruits, seeds, and occasionally nectar. Foraging alone or in small groups, white-bellied Cuckooshrike gleans prey from foliage, employs sallying and flutter-chasing, and may also forage on the ground.
Habitat
The white-bellied Cuckooshrike is typically found in a variety of vegetation types such as woodlands, savannas, various forest ecosystems including eucalypt, riparian, rainforest, and littoral forests. They are also present in forest edges, areas of secondary growth, mangrove systems, and cultural landscapes, which include agricultural farmlands, as well as plantations of coconut, teak, and Araucaria pine. Additionally, suburban gardens provide an urban habitat for white-bellied Cuckooshrike, indicating its adaptability to human-altered environments.
