  Feeding Habits
White-throated Manakin primarily consumes small fruits and insects, with a diet notably featuring fruits from Melastomataceae and Rubiaceae families, especially in French Guiana. They typically feed through aerial sallies and forage higher than many piprids. They often join mixed-species feeding flocks.
    Habitat
The white-throated Manakin is typically found in humid forests and sometimes inhabits the edges of these areas. These forests are often characterized by a hilly terrain and are located within broader tropical regions that offer the desired ecological conditions for this species. The bird's habitat preference includes areas abundant in lush vegetation, providing ample cover and food resources necessary for its survival and breeding activities.
