 The slender-billed crow (Corvus enca) is a Passerine bird of the family Corvidae, in the genus Corvus. The violet crow has been found to be distinct genetically and separated as Corvus violaceus. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical mangrove forest.

  Feeding Habits 
  Slender-billed Crow are omnivores, primarily feasting on fruits, especially figs, and various invertebrates like large beetles. They forage in canopies and on forest floors, pecking fruits while holding them with their feet and occasionally scavenging roadkill. Typically found in pairs or groups, they may feed alongside other birds. 
    Habitat 
  Slender-billed Crow predominantly resides in lowland broadleaf evergreen forests, both primary and mature secondary, often near human habitations, riverbanks, and water bodies. This species is adaptable, also occupying coastal and riverine forests, and is versatile enough to adapt to cultivated landscapes with scattered trees, like coconut plantations.
