Description
The overall appearance is sooty-grey, not at all glossy, like its relatives; though it does possess a similar dark grey patch of naked skin just behind the eye, and a smaller naked patch at the base of the bill. The bill itself is slate-grey and quite deep, tapering to a sharp point. The nasal bristles are relatively sparse usually leaving the nostrils on view. The iris is either grey-brown or red-brown, possibly depending on age. The legs and feet are black.

Feeding Habits
Jamaican Crow is omnivorous, feeding on fruits, arthropods, invertebrates, and occasionally preying on eggs and nestlings, with a preference for wild pigeon offspring. They forage actively, demonstrating adaptable feeding behaviors to their environment.
Habitat
The jamaican Crow typically inhabits wet limestone forests and mountain pastures, as well as wooded hills and open parklands. These birds are adapted to regions characterized by mixed landscapes that blend natural vegetation with areas of human settlement and agriculture. They are also found roosting communally in tall trees within agricultural areas. Though early records highlight a preference for wild forests at high elevations (above 600 meters), recent observations indicate that jamaican Crows have a more expansive range, utilizing lower elevations during the dry season as well.
