Feeding Habits
Sharp-tailed Tyrant primarily consumes insects and possibly seeds, foraging in pairs or small groups by perching on stems and shrubs. They exhibit unique behavior by occasionally hanging upside-down to feed on seedheads, similar to finches or tits.
Habitat
The sharp-tailed Tyrant's natural habitat includes campo and dry grassland territories, particularly favoring the damper and more overgrown segments of these areas. It has an affinity for regions adjoining shrubby marshlands or watercourses. While it gravitates towards the lowlands, it can occasionally be spotted in areas with disturbed vegetative growth.
