Description
The orange-breasted parrot is primarily green with a black bill, white face with a black patch. Males have orange breasts while females have orange patches on their faces.

Feeding Habits
Orange-breasted Fig Parrot primarily consume seeds of fig trees, Glochidion, and Acacia auriculaeformis, including breaking fruits apart. They feast on Poikilospermum inflorescences too. Generally found foraging in small canopy groups, they also venture to lower stories.
Habitat
The habitat of orange-breasted Fig Parrot primarily encompasses rain and monsoon forests, as well as gallery and savanna woodlands. This species is also found in Melaleuca swamp forests and can inhabit partly cleared areas within these ecosystems. They thrive specifically in lowland regions and hill terrains, typically below upper elevation levels.
