The blood-breasted flowerpecker (Dicaeum sanguinolentum) is a species of bird in the family Dicaeidae. It is found in the Lesser Sunda Islands. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Habitat
The blood-breasted Flowerpecker inhabits a variety of wooded environments including montane and hill forests, secondary growths, and forest edges. It is also found in open and degraded woodlands, casuarina groves, cultivated areas with light tree cover, as well as in gardens and roadside scrubs. This species adapts to both undisturbed and modified landscapes across broader geographical regions characterized by a prevalence of wooded habitats.
