Feeding Habits
Zoe's Imperial Pigeon is primarily frugivorous, consuming a variety of fruits, notably from Arecaceae, Lauraceae, Annonaceae, Moraceae, and Combretaceae families but has a lesser preference for figs. Zoe's Imperial Pigeon forages mainly in the canopy and occasionally descends to ground for water, feeding alone, in pairs, or small groups.
Habitat
The zoe's Imperial Pigeon typically resides in rainforest and monsoon forest habitats within broader lowland regions. It has a predilection for forest edges compared to its congeners and is known to roost in palm trees or prominent dead trees. This species favors the general tropical environments of rainforests rather than specific elevation levels or topographical nuances.
