Feeding Habits
Plumbeous Antvireo primarily feeds on a variety of insects and arthropods, including katydids and stick-insects. It forages in dense vegetation from ground level to 4 meters high, utilizing short hops and perching to glean prey from leaves and branches, and probes in leaf clusters. It may join mixed-species flocks during foraging.
Habitat
The plumbeous Antvireo predominantly dwells in the understoreys of lowland evergreen forests. These birds require shaded areas with minimal disturbance, commonly residing in dense foliage where old treefalls have been overtaken by vines and small trees.
