The small-billed elaenia (Elaenia parvirostris) is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Netherlands Antilles, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and heavily degraded former forest.

Habitat
The small-billed Elaenia occupies various woodland and forest habitats, with a preference for edges, clearings, and vegetated urban areas like towns and gardens. These birds thrive at altitudes up to 2000 meters, often in regions featuring scattered trees in lowland areas. During the non-breeding season, their range extends to lighter woodlands and gardens, as well as the canopies of humid forests, up to around 1000 meters, occasionally even higher in the Andean region.
