Description
The versicolored barbet (Eubucco versicolor) is a very colorful species of bird in the family Capitonidae. The species is also known as the blue-moustached barbet. It is found in humid Yungas forest growing on the east Andean slopes in Peru and Bolivia.

The versicolored Barbet is commonly found in humid forests characterized by a prevalence of epiphytes and mosses, as well as in old secondary forests and Bolivian dry forests. These birds typically inhabit areas with dense tree coverage and lush undergrowth, providing them with the necessary resources for feeding and nesting.
