Description
The rufous-bellied euphonia (Euphonia rufiventris) is a species of bird in the family Fringillidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.

Habitat
Rufous-bellied Euphonia thrives in the upper foliage of humid and wet terra firme and várzea forests, showing a preference for forest edges. These birds are also commonly seen in tall second-growth woodlands and sometimes in lush shade trees within clearings. They predominantly inhabit the lowland regions of broader tropical South America.
