    Habitat
The little Pied Flycatcher primarily resides in subtropical or tropical moist lowland and montane forests, thriving in a range of altitudes from 700 to 3000 meters. These environments include both broadleaf deciduous and evergreen forests. While breeding, little Pied Flycatcher occupies Himalayan forests up to 3000 meters high, later descending to lower elevations and inhabiting open woodland and orchards during the non-breeding season. Additionally, they are residents of hill forests in Southeast Asia and frequent hill and mossy forests in Wallacea and the Greater Sundas.
