Feeding Habits
White-browed Fulvetta predominantly feeds on insects, particularly favoring caterpillars in the breeding season. Outside of breeding, their diet diversifies to include berries and small seeds. They typically forage in low vegetation, often in flocks that can number up to 20, and may associate with other small bird species.
Habitat
The habitat of white-browed Fulvetta typically consists of diverse montane forest environments. They are commonly found in areas with a dense understory, including low scrub, juniper forests, dwarf willow and birch woodlands, stunted rhododendron, ringal bamboo thickets, and light pine or spruce forests with a substantial scrub layer. White-browed Fulvetta also inhabits forest edges and clearings rich in undergrowth, as well as stunted oak forests. This bird species prefers regions with a range of forested habitats that are dense in vegetation and undergrowth.
