Description
The ashy thrush (Geokichla cinerea) is a species of bird in the family Turdidae. It is endemic to the Philippines. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Habitat

It is often found in forests characterized by jagged limestone outcrops and remnant ridgetop patches. The species is also known to occupy mossy forests and those with an open understory dominated by rattans. Its presence is noted across broader geographic regions with these habitat conditions.
