Description
The orange-sided thrush or orange-banded thrush (Geokichla peronii) is a species of bird in the family Turdidae. It is found on Timor island and the southern Maluku Islands. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Feeding Habits
Orange-banded Thrush forages at multiple levels, from ground to canopy, often in fruiting trees, sometimes in groups of up to five. The diet primarily consists of a variety of fruits.
Habitat

It is known to adapt to various forest conditions, including regions where forests are degraded, provided that there are sufficient closed-canopy areas for shelter and foraging.
