The crested quail-dove (Geotrygon versicolor) is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is endemic to Jamaica. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Habitat
Crested Quail-dove primarily inhabits moist montane forests and middle-elevation wet limestone woodlands found in mountainous regions. These birds tend to be present in areas ranging from lowland elevations of about 100 meters up to high montane zones reaching 1800 meters. While crested Quail-dove is adapted to a humid forest environment, it avoids lowland dry forests, riverine forests, and cultivated areas with sparse tree cover, preferring more intact forest habitats.
