Description
The white-bellied antpitta (Grallaria hypoleuca) is a species of bird in the family Grallariidae. It is found in Colombia, Ecuador and far northern Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forest and heavily degraded former forest.

The white-bellied Antpitta typically inhabits the peripheries of humid montane forests, with a preference for regions abundant in dense undergrowth, including areas of significant secondary growth and places where the forest floor is disrupted by treefalls or landslides, promoting dense vegetation clusters.
