Description
The thick-billed heleia (Heleia crassirostris), also known as the Flores white-eye, is a species of bird in the family Zosteropidae. It is found in the Indonesian islands of Sumbawa and Flores. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Feeding Habits
Thick-billed Heleia forages in understorey and lower middle storey, often in groups. Feeds by gleaning along slender branches and fine twigs, although specific diet details are unknown.
Habitat
Thick-billed Heleia is typically found in a diverse array of forested environments ranging from primary and degraded semi-evergreen rainforests to moist deciduous monsoon forests. This bird species also occupies habitats at the edges of degraded forests, within dry forest landscapes, and in areas characterized by Eupatorium scrub vegetation, indicating its adaptability to a variety of forest conditions within its broader geographical range.
