The orange-throated sunangel (Heliangelus mavors) is a species of hummingbird. It is found in Colombia and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forest and heavily degraded former forest.

This species also adapts to arid regions characterized by sparse secondary growth vegetation.
