  Feeding Habits
Moustached Treeswift primarily consumes flying arthropods such as bees, ants, and beetles, especially around dawn and dusk. They forage from high perches and engage in long flights above or just above ground level, typically in flocks, to catch their prey.
    Habitat
The moustached Treeswift typically inhabits areas with high emergent tree canopies, such as mangroves, beach-strand woodland, and inland forest edges, including gallery forests within savanna regions. Its preference extends to environments that offer a clear overlook of open areas, often near rivers or places where the forest canopy is interrupted, allowing for easier flight and foraging.
