Description
The cinereous bulbul (Hemixos cinereus) is a species of songbird in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is found in Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

Habitat
The cinereous Bulbul predominantly resides in montane broadleaf evergreen forests that are either pristine or have undergone selective logging. This bird shows adaptability by also occupying secondary growth and heath forests. Its habitat includes various forest types such as Agathis forest and kerangas, as well as lowland dipterocarp forests. Although characteristically a mountain species, the cinereous Bulbul occasionally makes foraging trips to lowland areas, where it might utilize a more diverse array of environments including parkland scrub and reedbeds.
