The hylocitrea (Hylocitrea bonensis), also known as the yellow-flanked whistler or olive-flanked whistler, is a species of bird that is endemic to montane forests on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. It is monotypic within the genus Hylocitrea, and has traditionally been considered a member of the family Pachycephalidae, but recent genetic evidence suggests it should be placed in a monotypic subfamily of the family Bombycillidae, or even its own family, Hylocitreidae.

Feeding Habits
Hylocitrea's diet consists primarily of berries and arthropods. It forages in the middle storey and understorey of forests and is known to join mixed-species flocks. Hylocitrea exhibits no unique dietary adaptations.
Habitat
The hylocitrea predominantly resides in northern and southern montane forests, with a particular affinity for moss-dominant habitats. These environments are characterized by a notable presence of various species of mosses, which play a role in the unique ecosystem that supports the hylocitrea's ecological requirements. The region's montane forests encompass a habitat range supportive of the hylocitrea's existence, providing shelter and sustenance crucial for its survival.
