  The streak-chested antpitta or spectacled antpitta (Hylopezus perspicillatus) is a species of bird in the family Grallariidae. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.

    Habitat 
  Streak-chested Antpitta typically resides in lowland tropical evergreen wet forests, primarily in Central America and northern South America. This bird species favors humid and dense forest environments, avoiding arid lowland and high-elevation montane forests. While streak-chested Antpitta is most abundant in regions nearer to the Caribbean slope in certain areas, it is notably absent from Pacific slope habitats within its range.
