The grey-eyed greenlet (Hylophilus amaurocephalus) is a species of bird in the family Vireonidae. It is found in Bolivia and Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.

Feeding Habits
Grey-eyed Greenlet consumes arthropods and vegetable matter, including fruits like Struthanthus concinnus. They forage between 1–10m above ground, often dismembering prey, such as spiders, with their feet. Found in groups or pairs, grey-eyed Greenlet also joins mixed-species flocks.
Habitat
The habitat of grey-eyed Greenlet encompasses a variety of vegetation-rich environments, including the semi-arid Caatinga woodland, tangled forest edges, and scrubland. These birds are also prevalent in bushy pastures where they can find ample foraging opportunities and shelter within the underbrush.
