Description
The grey-eyed bulbul (Iole propinqua) is a species of songbird in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. It is found in Southeast Asia in its natural habitat of subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

Feeding Habits
Grey-eyed Bulbul mainly consumes fruit and insects, foraging in the canopy and midstorey without descending to the ground. Typically solitary or in pairs, grey-eyed Bulbul occasionally groups at fruiting shrubs and trees, displaying a shy and unobtrusive feeding behavior.
Habitat
Grey-eyed Bulbul thrives in broadleaf evergreen and mixed deciduous forests, often at the edges and in secondary growth areas with significant bamboo or vine components. They are commonly found in habitats with disturbed vegetation, including those near clearings, roads, and forest-lined rivers.
