Description
The crested tit-warbler (Leptopoecile elegans) is a species of bird in the family Aegithalidae. It is found in China and possibly India. Its natural habitat is boreal forest. It generally has a red hint to it and a bit of blue on, or near, its wings. The tail is of an emerald green colour.

Feeding Habits
Crested Tit-warbler primarily consumes insects and adeptly forages high up in trees, resembling kinglet and nuthatch behavior. Crested Tit-warbler sometimes joins mixed-species flocks in the non-breeding season, adapting its feeding locations from high trees to lower shrubs.
Habitat
The crested Tit-warbler is typically found in conifer forests dominated by spruce trees. These birds adapt to seasonal changes by inhabiting scrublands comprised of juniper and rhododendron outside of their breeding season, demonstrating a reliance on dense vegetative cover in various ecosystems within broad temperate regions.
