Description
The olive-backed quail-dove (Leptotrygon veraguensis) is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is the only species in the genus Leptotrygon. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its natural habitat is lowland tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests. The olive-backed quail-dove feeds on seeds, small fruits, and small invertebrates. It is typically encountered alone or in pairs.
