Description
The semiplumbeous hawk (Leucopternis semiplumbeus) is a species of bird of prey in the family Accipitridae. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, and Panama. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

Habitat
The semiplumbeous Hawk primarily inhabits humid forests within tropical and lower subtropical zones. Its range broadly covers tropical regions, typically from sea-level up to 1000 meters in elevation, with occasional sightings up to 1600 meters. The semiplumbeous Hawk's habitat reflects a preference for lower elevations, generally beneath 500 meters.
